Rodrigo Bentancur

Rodrigo Bentancur is a Uruguayan central midfielder who spent five seasons at Juventus, winning three Serie A titles, before becoming a key figure at Tottenham Hotspur. He won the UEFA Europa League with Spurs in 2024-25 and has earned over 70 caps for Uruguay across multiple World Cup and Copa América campaigns.

Bentancur came through Boca Juniors' youth system and made 51 first-team appearances — winning two Argentine league titles — before Juventus signed him in 2017. At Turin he won three successive Serie A championships and developed into one of Europe's better box-to-box midfielders.

Tottenham Hotspur paid for him in early 2022, and he became a linchpin of their midfield, reaching 110 Premier League appearances by 2026. His most significant club honour at Spurs came with the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League title.
