Salih Özcan

Salih Özcan is a Cologne-born Turkish midfielder who won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with Germany in 2021 before committing to Turkey at senior level. He spent four seasons at Borussia Dortmund, reaching the Champions League final in 2024.

Özcan developed at 1. FC Köln, spending time on loan at Holstein Kiel before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2022. At Dortmund he was part of the squad that reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2023–24, and also spent time on loan at Wolfsburg. The Wikipedia article notes he left Dortmund at the end of the 2025–26 season.

Having won the UEFA Under-21 Championship with Germany in 2021, he subsequently chose to represent Turkey's senior national team. He has earned 30 caps and scored his first international goal against Spain in November 2025 during World Cup qualifying.
