L'histoire
Scott McTominay is one of Scotland's most prominent players, a powerful midfielder who spent seven years at Manchester United before moving to Napoli in 2024, where he won the Serie A title in his debut season. He qualified for Scotland through his Scottish father.
McTominay came through Manchester United's academy and made his senior debut in 2017. He went on to make over 250 appearances for the club, winning the FA Cup in 2023–24 and the EFL Cup in 2022–23, before Napoli signed him for £25.7 million in August 2024.
At Napoli he became a key figure immediately, winning the Serie A title in 2024–25 and being named the league's MVP. He helped Scotland qualify for the 2026 World Cup and has been one of the country's standout performers at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
