Sergiño Dest

Sergiño Dest is an American full-back of Dutch-Surinamese heritage who came through Ajax's academy and played for Barcelona before settling at PSV Eindhoven. He holds dual Dutch and American nationality and represents the United States internationally.

Dest developed at Ajax and broke into the first team before a €21 million move to Barcelona in 2020. During his time at the Spanish club he won the Copa del Rey and spent a loan stint at AC Milan, but eventually departed for PSV Eindhoven — first on loan, then permanently — winning multiple Eredivisie titles.

He has earned 39 caps and 3 goals for the United States, representing the team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and has won three CONCACAF Nations League titles.
