Yahia Fofana

Yahia Fofana is a tall goalkeeper who rose through Le Havre's academy and became Angers SCO's first-choice stopper before switching international allegiance from France to Ivory Coast, with whom he won the 2023 AFCON.

Fofana developed at Le Havre and made 38 first-team appearances there before Angers SCO signed him in 2022. He was the club's regular goalkeeper across three seasons, logging 77 appearances, before moving to Çaykur Rizespor in Turkey in 2025.

Having represented France at under-16 through under-19 level, he switched his international allegiance to Ivory Coast. He was a squad member for the 2023 AFCON triumph, featuring in most of the matches, and had earned 35 caps by 2026.
