Yan Diomandé

Yan Diomande is a teenage winger from Abidjan who burst onto the European scene after a brief spell at Leganés, earning a move to RB Leipzig where he was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Season in 2025–26.

Diomande developed partly in the United States at youth level before joining CD Leganés in Spain, where 10 appearances and 2 goals in La Liga caught the attention of RB Leipzig. Signing in 2025, he made 33 Bundesliga appearances and scored 12 goals in his debut season, winning multiple monthly rookie awards.

He broke into the Ivory Coast senior team in 2025 and had earned 9 caps with 3 goals by the time of the 2026 World Cup.
