Yunus Akgün

Yunus Akgün is a Turkish attacking midfielder who has spent most of his career at Galatasaray, winning four Süper Lig titles. He also spent a loan year at Leicester City in England's Championship.

Akgün progressed through Galatasaray's academy and has been part of the senior squad since 2018, contributing to four league title wins. He spent two seasons on loan at Adana Demirspor, scoring 16 goals in 70 appearances, and a further season at Leicester City in 2023–24, helping them win the EFL Championship.

He has made 19 appearances for Turkey's senior national team and scored 4 goals, featuring at UEFA Euro 2024 and in 2026 World Cup qualification.
