Zaid Tahseen

Zaid Tahseen is an Iraqi centre-back for Pakhtakor and the Iraq national team. He developed in the Iraqi league before moving to Uzbekistan in 2025.

Tahseen started with Al-Najaf and became a regular at Naft Al-Wasat and Al-Talaba before joining Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. He signed for Pakhtakor in 2025 and won the Uzbekistan Cup that year.

He captained Iraq's under-23 side to a bronze medal and Olympic qualification in 2024, and was part of the senior squad that won the 2023 Arabian Gulf Cup.
