Márcio Rosa

Márcio Rosa is a Cape Verdean goalkeeper who has spent most of his club career in Portugal's lower divisions and more recently in Bulgaria. He has earned nine international caps and was part of Cape Verde's squads at the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Rosa began training in Cape Verde before moving to Portugal, where he progressed through the academies of Real Massamá and G.D. Chaves from 2013. His senior career took him through several Portuguese clubs including Montalegre, Cova da Piedade and Chaves between 2016 and 2024, before a move to Bulgaria with Hebar Pazardzhik and then PFC Montana in 2025.

He made his international debut in June 2018 and featured for Cape Verde at the 2021 and 2023 AFCON tournaments, accumulating 9 caps.
