Nilson Angulo

Nilson Angulo is a young Ecuadorian winger who joined RSC Anderlecht as a teenager and signed for Sunderland in February 2026. He has been part of Ecuador's senior squad since the 2026 World Cup cycle.

Angulo started at LDU Quito, winning the Supercopa Ecuador in 2021, before Anderlecht recruited him in 2022. He developed with Anderlecht's reserve side RSCA Futures before breaking into the first team, then joined Sunderland in February 2026.

He made his Ecuador senior debut and accumulated 14 caps and 2 goals, wearing the number 20 shirt in Ecuador's 2026 World Cup squad.
