Oston Urunov

Oston Urunov is an Uzbek attacking midfielder who moved through Navbahor Namangan and Spartak Moscow before signing for Persepolis in Iran, where he won the Persian Gulf Pro League in 2023–24. He has scored 10 goals in 44 appearances for Uzbekistan.

Urunov came through the Pakhtakor academy and developed at Navbahor Namangan before moving to Russia with Ufa and Spartak Moscow, though first-team opportunities were limited and he had further loan spells. He returned to Uzbekistan with Navbahor Namangan in 2023, rediscovering his form with 9 goals in 25 appearances.

That form persuaded Persepolis to sign him in 2024, and he thrived in Tehran, making 53 appearances and scoring 13 goals while helping the club win the Persian Gulf Pro League. Internationally, he has earned 44 caps and 10 goals, and was part of the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup-winning squad.
