Wagner Pina

Wagner Pina is a Lisbon-born right-back of Cape Verdean heritage who earned a move to Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor from Estoril in 2025 for a fee of €3 million. He has represented Cape Verde internationally since March 2024.

Pina started his career with CD Gouveia in 2021 and progressed through Belenenses and Estoril in Portugal, making his Primeira Liga debut with the latter. His form attracted Trabzonspor, who signed him in June 2025 on a four-year deal, and he promptly won the Turkish Cup in his debut season.

He made his Cape Verde debut in March 2024 in a 1–0 win over Guyana and has since earned 8 caps.
