Alban Lafont

Alban Lafont is a tall goalkeeper who came through Toulouse's academy and spent several seasons as the first choice at FC Nantes, earning a switch of international allegiance to Ivory Coast in 2025 after years representing France at youth level.

Lafont made his professional debut at Toulouse aged 16 and built a reputation as one of France's top young goalkeepers, which led to a move to Fiorentina in 2018. After two loan stints at Nantes he joined the club permanently, where he became a key figure and helped them lift the Coupe de France in 2022.

In 2025 Lafont moved on loan to Panathinaikos and, having previously represented France at every youth level, switched his international allegiance to Ivory Coast, winning his first senior caps in 2025–26.
