Alexandr Sojka

Young Czech midfielder from Viktoria Plzeň's academy who made his senior international debut in May 2026 and was included in the Czech Republic's 2026 FIFA World Cup squad at age 23.

Sojka began at SK Klatovy 1898 before joining Plzeň's academy in 2017. He gained senior experience on loan at Táborsko in the second tier during 2023–24, then made 17 Czech First League appearances and nine Europa League outings for Plzeň in 2024–25. A spell at Hradec Králové preceded his return to Plzeň after a buy-back in January 2026.

He represented Czech youth teams before earning selection for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. His senior debut came in May 2026 against Kosovo; he was then named to the final 26-man World Cup squad.
