Alireza Beiranvand

Alireza Beiranvand is Iran's most-capped goalkeeper, a six-time Persian Gulf Pro League champion who also holds Guinness World Records for the longest throw and longest drop kick.

Beiranvand established himself at Persepolis from 2016, winning six league titles over two spells and appearing in the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. He had a stint in Europe with Royal Antwerp and a loan spell at Boavista before returning to Iran, joining Tractor in 2024.

With 86 international appearances, he has been Iran's first-choice keeper across three AFC Asian Cups and two World Cups, and was named Iranian Footballer of the Year in 2019.
