David Alaba

Austria's captain and most experienced outfield player, David Alaba is one of the most decorated players from Central Europe, having won 10 Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and multiple Champions Leagues with both Bayern and Real Madrid.

Alaba came through FK Austria Wien's youth system before joining Bayern Munich in 2008. He spent 13 seasons at Bayern (2010–2021), winning 10 Bundesliga titles, 6 DFB-Pokal trophies, and 2 Champions Leagues, playing predominantly at left-back before transitioning to centre-back.

He joined Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2021, adding 2 La Liga titles and 2 more Champions League winners' medals. He captains the Austrian national side, for whom he has earned 113 caps and 15 goals.
