Donyell Malen

A versatile Dutch forward who came through Ajax and Arsenal academies before establishing himself at PSV Eindhoven. After stints at Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa, he joined AS Roma in early 2026 and helped them qualify for the Champions League.

Malen progressed through Ajax and Arsenal's youth systems before PSV acquired him, where he scored 40 goals in 81 appearances and won the Eredivisie in 2017–18. Borussia Dortmund signed him in 2021 for around €30 million, and he finished as Bundesliga top scorer in 2023–24 with 13 goals.

A January 2025 move to Aston Villa was followed by a permanent transfer to Roma in January 2026, where he netted 14 goals in the second half of 2025–26 to secure the club's first Champions League qualification in seven years. He won the UEFA Europa League with Aston Villa in 2025–26.
