Édgar Bárcenas

Édgar Bárcenas (also known as Yoel Bárcenas) is a Panamanian winger who played in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and has won over 100 caps, spending substantial time in Spain's second division before settling at Mazatlán F.C. in Liga MX.

Bárcenas developed at Árabe Unido before Club Tijuana signed him in 2018. During his time contracted to Tijuana he spent successful loan spells at Real Oviedo (70 appearances, 14 goals), Girona FC, and CD Leganés in the Spanish second division.

From 2022 he has been a regular at Mazatlán F.C. in Liga MX, accumulating over 100 appearances and earning recognition on the 2023 Gold Cup Best XI.
