Edmílson

Belgian-born winger of Brazilian descent who moved to Qatar in 2018 and has become a key player for Al-Duhail SC in the Qatar Stars League. Made his Qatar national team debut in September 2024.

Born in Liège to a Brazilian father who was also a professional footballer, Edmilson developed through Belgian clubs before joining Standard Liège, winning two Belgian Cups. He moved to Al-Duhail in Qatar in 2018.

At Al-Duhail he contributed 89 goal involvements in 125 matches (47 goals, 42 assists), helping win the Qatar Stars League in 2019–20 and the Emir Cup in 2019 and 2022. He earned his first Qatar senior call-up in September 2024 for World Cup qualifying.
