A história
Giovani Lo Celso is an Argentine attacking midfielder who plays for Real Betis in La Liga and has been a regular part of Argentina's Copa América and World Cup squads. Technically gifted, he is known for his creativity and passing range in midfield.
Lo Celso began his career at Rosario Central before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, where he won Ligue 1 and two Coupe de France titles. A series of loan spells at Real Betis — with whom he eventually signed permanently in 2024 — along with four-and-a-half years at Tottenham Hotspur shaped his time in European football.
He was part of Argentina's squads that won the 2021 Copa América, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and the 2024 Copa América. His assist for Lautaro Martínez's winner in the 2024 Copa América final against Colombia underlined his importance to the national team.
