Gregor Kobel

Gregor Kobel is a Swiss goalkeeper who developed at TSG Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart before establishing himself as one of Europe's elite 'keepers at Borussia Dortmund, becoming the first Swiss goalkeeper to play in a Champions League final (2023–24).

Kobel progressed through Swiss youth football before joining Hoffenheim's academy. He gained experience through loan spells at FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart, earning a permanent contract at Stuttgart in 2020 before Dortmund signed him on a five-year deal for €15 million in 2021.

At Dortmund he has earned consecutive Bundesliga Team of the Season honours (2022–23, 2023–24, 2025–26) and reached the 2023–24 Champions League final. He holds 21 senior caps for Switzerland.
