Ibrahima Konaté

Ibrahima Konaté is a French centre-back who spent four years at RB Leipzig before Liverpool signed him for £36 million in 2021. A tall and athletic defender, he won the Premier League with Liverpool in 2024–25 and has earned 28 caps for France.

After progressing through Sochaux's academy, Konaté joined RB Leipzig in 2017 and developed into one of the Bundesliga's most commanding young centre-backs. Liverpool secured his services in 2021 and he quickly won domestic cups in his debut season, before adding the Premier League title in 2024–25.

Internationally, Konaté has become a reliable option in France's central defence, reaching the 2022 World Cup final as part of the squad.
