Iñaki Williams

Iñaki Williams is a Bilbao-born forward of Ghanaian descent who has spent his entire senior career at Athletic Club, where he became the first Black captain in the club's history. After representing Spain once in 2016, he switched his international allegiance to Ghana in 2022.

Williams came through Athletic Club's youth system and established himself in the first team from 2014, going on to make over 400 La Liga appearances for the Basque club. He set a La Liga record of 251 consecutive matches and was named club captain at the start of the 2025–26 season.

His club honours include the Copa del Rey in 2023–24 and the Supercopa de España in 2021. Switching to Ghana in 2022, he has earned 25 caps for the Black Stars and scored two international goals.
