Joseph Scally

Joe Scally is an American full-back who has established himself as a first-team regular at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga. He joined the German club as a teenager and has grown into a key defensive option for the United States national team.

Scally came through New York City FC's academy and made a handful of senior MLS appearances before Borussia Mönchengladbach signed him in 2021. He progressed quickly from the club's reserve side into the first team, going on to make over 150 Bundesliga appearances. He was included in the United States' 2022 FIFA World Cup squad.

On the international stage, Scally has earned 26 senior caps since his debut and was part of the squads that won the CONCACAF Nations League in 2023 and 2024.
