Lewis Ferguson

Lewis Ferguson is a Scottish midfielder who plays for Bologna in Serie A, where he became club captain in 2023. He made history in December 2023 by surpassing Denis Law's record to become the top Scottish goalscorer in Serie A history.

Ferguson progressed through academies at Rangers and Hamilton Academical before making his senior debut with Hamilton in 2017. He spent four productive seasons at Aberdeen (2018–2022), establishing himself as one of Scotland's best young midfielders.

Bologna signed him in 2022 and he quickly became a key figure, being appointed club captain in October 2023. He won the Coppa Italia with the club in 2024–25 and earned the Serie A Midfielder of the Year award in 2023–24.
