Marcel Sabitzer

A technically gifted Austrian midfielder who has played at the highest level for seven years, spending time at RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Manchester United (on loan), and Borussia Dortmund. Close to 100 Austria caps.

Sabitzer progressed through Austrian football with Admira Wacker and Rapid Wien before joining RB Leipzig in 2014. He spent seven seasons there, making 177 league appearances and becoming a key figure. Bayern Munich signed him in 2021 for €16 million; he then had a loan spell at Manchester United (winning the EFL Cup in 2022–23) before joining Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal in July 2023.

He has represented Austria at Euros in 2016, 2020, and 2024, accumulating 98 caps and 26 goals.
