Mathieu Choinière

Mathieu Choiniere is a Canadian midfielder and winger for Los Angeles FC. He spent the first part of his professional career with CF Montreal before playing in Switzerland and returning to MLS.

Choiniere graduated from Montreal's academy and became a first-team regular, winning the Canadian Championship in 2019 and 2021. He moved to Grasshopper in 2024, joined LAFC on loan the following year and completed a permanent move in 2026.

After representing Canada at youth level, he made his senior debut in 2023 and has featured in major tournament squads.
