Nicolás Tagliafico

Nicolás Tagliafico is an Argentina left-back known for his attacking energy and consistency at the highest level. He was part of the Argentina squads that won the 2021 and 2024 Copa América, the 2022 Finalissima, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Tagliafico developed at Banfield and spent time on loan at Real Murcia before establishing himself at Independiente, where he won the Copa Sudamericana in 2017. That form earned him a move to Ajax in January 2018, where he became a key figure in the Dutch side's dominant era, claiming three Eredivisie titles and reaching the 2019 Champions League semi-finals.

He joined Olympique Lyonnais in July 2022 and has continued as a regular starter in Ligue 1. At international level Tagliafico has accumulated 76 caps and a goal for Argentina, contributing to a golden era of trophies for the national team.
