Nuno Da Costa

Nuno da Costa is a Cape Verdean forward who progressed from French non-league football to Ligue 1 and the English Championship, winning the 2019 Coupe de la Ligue with Strasbourg. He currently plays for İstanbul Başakşehir in Turkey.

Da Costa began in French non-league football with Aubagne before breaking into Ligue 2 with Valenciennes in 2015. He made his Ligue 1 breakthrough with Strasbourg, where he came off the bench in the 2019 Coupe de la Ligue final victory. He subsequently had spells at Nottingham Forest in England, then Auxerre and Kasımpaşa, before joining İstanbul Başakşehir.

He debuted for Cape Verde in June 2016, scoring on his first appearance, and has earned 9 caps with 2 goals.
