Orbelín Pineda

Orbelín Pineda is a highly experienced Mexican attacking midfielder with 92 senior caps, who has won league titles in both Mexico and Greece during a career that has taken him from Liga MX to Europe.

Pineda came through the Liga MX ranks at Querétaro and Guadalajara before spending three years at Cruz Azul, where he helped win the Guardianes 2021 title. A short stint at Celta de Vigo preceded his move to AEK Athens in 2022, where he has become one of the Super League's most influential players, winning two league titles.

Capped 92 times for Mexico, he has been part of three Gold Cup-winning squads (2019, 2023, 2025) and the 2025 Nations League winners. He also has a CONCACAF Champions League winner's medal from 2018.
