Pau Cubarsí

Pau Cubarsí is a Spanish centre-back at FC Barcelona, regarded as one of football's most exciting young defenders. Born in January 2007, he made his first-team debut in January 2024 aged 17 and has already accumulated 85+ senior appearances and 12 Spain caps.

Cubarsí joined Barcelona's La Masia academy from Girona in 2018. He broke into the first team in January 2024 and quickly became a regular starter, impressing with his composure and reading of the game far beyond his years. He won two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, and multiple Supercopa de España trophies in his first two seasons.

He was part of Spain's under-23 squad that won Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Games and has earned 12 senior international caps since 2024.
