Payam Niazmand

Payam Niazmand is a tall Iranian goalkeeper who made over 165 appearances for Sepahan and won the 2023–24 Hazfi Cup before joining Persepolis in 2025.

Niazmand came through Paykan before establishing himself as Sepahan's number one over seven seasons and 165 league appearances. He also had a brief stint in Portugal with Portimonense. He joined Persepolis in May 2025 and set a club record of 940 consecutive minutes without conceding.

He debuted for Iran in October 2020 and has earned 15 senior caps, winning the 2023 CAFA Nations Cup and being named Best Goalkeeper at the 2025 edition.
