Rayan Cherki

Rayan Cherki is a French attacking midfielder who made his professional debut for Lyon at age 16 and was one of the academy's best-ever prospects. Manchester City signed him for approximately €36.5 million in June 2025 and he earned his first France senior caps the same year.

Cherki debuted for Lyon in October 2019, becoming one of the youngest Ligue 1 debutants ever. He spent six seasons at the club, with an outstanding 2024–25 season that drew widespread attention and prompted Manchester City to sign him for around €36.5 million. He won the FA Cup and EFL Cup in his first season at the club.

He earned a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics and made his France senior debut in June 2025, scoring twice in 7 appearances.
