Sebastían Cáceres

Sebastián Cáceres is a Uruguayan centre-back who has been a regular starter at Club América in Liga MX since 2020, winning multiple league titles across four seasons with the Mexican giants. He earned his first senior Uruguay caps in 2022 and was named in the 2026 World Cup squad.

Cáceres made his professional debut for Liverpool Montevideo in August 2017 and accumulated 63 appearances before Club América signed him in January 2020. He established himself as an important defensive option at the Mexico City club and played 145 appearances by 2026.

His Liga MX career yielded titles in the Apertura 2023-24, Clausura 2024, and Apertura 2024-25 cycles, plus the Campeón de Campeones and Campeones Cup in 2024. He made his Uruguay senior debut in 2022 and reached 24 caps ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
