Sipho Chaine

Sipho Chaine is a South African goalkeeper who has been Orlando Pirates' first choice since joining in 2022, winning the 2024–25 PSL Goalkeeper of the Season award. He was selected for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Chaine came through Bloemfontein Celtic's youth ranks and made 30 senior appearances for the club between 2016 and 2021. Brief stints at Royal AM and Chippa United followed before Orlando Pirates signed him in 2022, where he has since made over 70 appearances and won multiple cups including the MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup.

He made his senior international debut in 2024 and earned 2 caps as a backup goalkeeper for Bafana Bafana.
