Uğurcan Çakır

Uğurcan Çakır is a Turkish goalkeeper who spent over a decade at Trabzonspor, winning the Süper Lig title in 2021–22, before joining Galatasaray in 2025. He has represented Turkey at two European Championships.

Çakır came through Trabzonspor's academy and developed into the club's first-choice goalkeeper, making 235 appearances over eleven senior years at the club. He was part of the squad that won a long-awaited Süper Lig title in 2021–22, as well as the Turkish Cup and two Super Cup medals.

He joined Galatasaray in 2025 and won a further Süper Lig title in 2025–26. At international level he has 39 caps for Turkey and represented the national team at UEFA Euro 2020, Euro 2024, and in 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
