Umar Eshmurodov

Umar Eshmurodov is an Uzbek centre-back who has spent the bulk of his career at FC Nasaf, making over 110 appearances across multiple stints, with a brief spell in Malaysia at Selangor FC in 2024. He has 29 senior caps for Uzbekistan and was included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

Eshmurodov began his professional career at FC Shurtan Guzar in 2013, making 62 appearances, before joining FC Nasaf in 2017. His time at Nasaf has been the defining thread of his career — he has returned to the club on multiple occasions between other stints, accumulating well over a hundred appearances for them. A short stay at Pakhtakor Tashkent in 2020–21 was largely spent on loan back at Nasaf.

He ventured abroad for the first time with Selangor FC in Malaysia in 2024 before returning to Nasaf in 2025. At international level he debuted in February 2020 and has since earned 29 caps, being selected for Uzbekistan's historic first World Cup squad in 2026.
