Utkir Yusupov

Utkir Yusupov is an Uzbek goalkeeper who spent five seasons as Navbahor Namangan's first choice before a two-year spell at Foolad FC in Iran, and has won 39 senior caps for Uzbekistan since gaining citizenship in 2017. He was part of the squad that won the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup.

Born in Kazakhstan to a family of Uzbek origin, Yusupov moved to Uzbekistan at age five and obtained Uzbekistani citizenship in 2017. He built his professional career through Mash'al Mubarek, Nasaf and Neftchi Fergana before joining Kokand 1912 and then Navbahor Namangan, where he made 116 appearances across five years.

He moved abroad to Foolad FC in Iran in 2024, making 29 appearances over two seasons, before returning to Navbahor Namangan in 2026. Internationally he has 39 caps and represented Uzbekistan at the 2019 and 2023 AFC Asian Cups, as well as the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup which Uzbekistan won.
