Xaver Schlager

An Austrian central midfielder who progressed through Red Bull Salzburg's system and has been a Bundesliga regular at VfL Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig. A consistent performer at club and international level.

Schlager came through SC St. Valentin and Red Bull Salzburg's academy before establishing himself at FC Liefering and then Salzburg's senior side, winning four Austrian Bundesliga titles. He joined VfL Wolfsburg in 2019, making 69 Bundesliga appearances, before signing for RB Leipzig in 2022 where he has made 81 appearances.

He has 51 caps and 4 goals for Austria.
