Aziz Behich

Aziz Behich is an Australian left back who has represented his country at multiple FIFA World Cups and was part of the Socceroos squad that won the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. He captained Melbourne City during the 2024–25 season.

Behich came through Australian youth football before joining Melbourne Victory in 2010. His career subsequently took him across four continents, with a notable seven-year spell at Turkish club Bursaspor, followed by stints at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Dundee United in Scotland.

He returned to Australia with Melbourne City in 2023 and was named club captain for the 2024–25 season, during which City won the A-League Championship. Behich earned 84 senior caps for Australia and was named in the AFC Asian Cup Team of the Tournament in 2023.
