Jacob Widell Zetterström

Tall Swedish goalkeeper who joined Derby County from Djurgårdens IF in 2024, overcoming health challenges to earn Save of the Season recognition and a place in Sweden's 2026 World Cup squad.

Zetterström began his career at IFK Lidingö before establishing himself at Djurgårdens IF from 2019 to 2024, accumulating 87 league appearances and winning the Allsvenskan in 2019. He transferred to Derby County on a three-year deal in August 2024.

Despite a viral infection sidelining him for months, he cemented his position as Derby's first-choice goalkeeper. He made his Sweden senior debut in January 2023 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
