Patrik Schick

Czech striker and Czechia's all-time top international scorer with 25 goals in 52 caps. Won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double with Bayer Leverkusen in 2023–24, and was joint top scorer and scored Goal of the Tournament at Euro 2020.

Schick came through Sparta Prague's academy before moving to Italy at 20, playing for Sampdoria and Roma. A loan to RB Leipzig (10 goals in 28 games, 2019) preceded a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen in September 2020. He became a standout performer, netting 24 Bundesliga goals in 2021–22 and helping Leverkusen to their historic unbeaten domestic double in 2023–24.

Internationally he became a Czech icon at Euro 2020, sharing the top scorer award with 5 goals — including a stunning long-range effort against Scotland voted Goal of the Tournament. He has 52 caps and 25 goals for Czechia, making him the national team's record scorer.
